However:

• Signs cannot block visibility or create safety hazards.

• HOAs can regulate political signs but generally cannot completely ban them on private property.

• Renters may display political signs but must follow applicable local rules and obtain any required permission.

Important: Do not display your yard sign until it is permitted by your local city or jurisdiction in San Bernardino County for the November 3, 2026 election. Always check with the applicable city clerk or code enforcement office before placing your sign to confirm the current local requirements. Posting signs too early may result in removal or fines.
